The purpose of WAYSA is to provide and foster organized youth soccer for boys and girls from kindergarten through 11th grade in Wausau and the surrounding area.

 

The philosophy of WAYSA is to promote participation and emphasize sportsmanship, while developing skills and an appreciation of the game of soccer.

 

Your willingness to assist is more important than experience when it comes to these volunteer positions.  Coaching clinics and referee training are held prior to the start of the season.  It is recommended that you attend the clinic and/or training applicable to your volunteer position.

 

In consideration of permitting our child named above to participate in the activities sponsored by the Wausau Area Youth Soccer Association, Inc., we do hereby waive all claims and liabilities and forever release all claims and liabilities we now have or may have in the future against the Wausau Area Youth Soccer Association, Inc., its officers, agents, members, coaches or employees, arising in any manner or from any consideration with our child’s participation in such activities.

2005 Registration Fees:        $30.00 per player   $75.00 cap per family

                                           $5.00 late registration fee (deadline April 16, 2005)

                                           Financial aid available

 

Ø     Playing season begins in July 05, 2005 and ends August 11, 2005

Ø     Shin guards are required at all ages

Ø     Soccer shoes are recommended, but not required

Ø     Deadline for registration is April 16, 2005

Ø     One player registration per form

Remember to complete the volunteer information on the reverse side.  We are seeking volunteers for the positions of coach/assistant coach, referees, and board member.  Thousands of area youth are able to play soccer in a recreational league each year because of volunteers like you.  Soccer expertise is not required, as clinics and training are available through WAYSA.  Thank you!
